Good Morning!!
No pictures of cards today. I promise! But what a great day!
Mom and Dad are coming for lunch, YAY! I really mean it too. Mom is my best friend. We kibitz together, we laugh, we cry, we scheme.  But mostly, we love each other, unconditionally. Dad is just the greatest. Loves playing devils advocate, has a great sense of humor and is possibly as sensitive as Steven is. He also loves me and isn't afraid to be my dad. When i need a talking to, he doles it out, in the most loving way..I also know to listen when he has something to say, because he doesn't advise unless he really feels the need to, or I ask him to. So needless to say.. I am excited about them coming.
I put on different clothes today, that I haven worn in a long long time, and, the are actually big on me. YAY. I've lost 70 lbs in a year. Not trying ..just happened.  I followed Stevens plan, and use a salad plate as a dinner plate..and there you have it. The mind is a powerful thing.. So that makes me very happy. he he watch out Steven, I'm feeling sexy again. Might even try to fit into my full corset.

Getting older and being on so many medications, my eyelashes really suffered. The mascara she has gave me a whole new youthful look to my lashes..I highly recommend their products.

Hello. Grab a cup of coffee, tea, or a glass of wine.. I have a feeling this is going to be a long one!!!

Things are a little crazy around here. I actually cleaned yesterday and made it so my work-space is neat and manageable. Sonny helped with the heavier things..Speaking of Sonny, he cooked dinner last night, on his own with a little direction from me. He made baked ziti, and it was great!
Kudos to our boy, he is growing up..
So to continue about yesterday, I know i mentioned I am in therapy. This guy is great. His name is Mike (Moshe) Raskind. He really is the most kindest and caring and knowledgeable therapist I have ever known or had the experience of doing therapy with. He wrote a book..yes he has published work out there. I just purchased the book and will let you know how it is.. oh..the name of the book?

How great is that? You can get it on amazon. This guy is for real..really. check that book out,I Promise you cant go wrong. I know I am going to buy a few for Christmas presents.

I haven't made any new cards yesterday. While cleaning i was coming up with some new ideas. I did some journal drawing where I defined my back pain with a drawing. It was interesting to do. 

Today, I am not too sure of what I am doing. Steven is at work , in the office instead of working from home. BUMMER. 

I've got groceries being delivered between 3 and 5. I've got my kindle, some books I am reading. Who knows what and where today.

Here we are, another day full of mini adventures.
I did manage to cretae a few cards, I guess I'm on a roll now.
I was able to clean a bit yesterday which felt really good to do.
Pain level is still quite high and I find it hard to focus at times.
Can't wait til tomorrow, I have pain management in therapy. I hope I can find something that helps more than the meds I am on.

JANUARY 26TH, 2016

Had a fit full night sleep. So much going through my mind. Organizing my craft supplies, making cards, etc. During the night i had Earth Cam running on my tablet and kept watching this cute giraffe eating and moving around.They really have a nice assortment of free webcams from around the world. Besides having an off night, i woke up with a lot of pain. It's just so coollllld.
Im jumping right into card making this morning.I need to finish up some cards that I started and have some ideas for new ones. I know before long, I will get tired again and will need to nap. I have Sonny home with a terrible cold and fever. It's that time of year. I will try to post pictures through out the day or maybe all at once tonight.

January 25,2016 A new Year and New Beginnings

This is the start of a New Year.. Yes I am a few weeks behind! So much has happened since I last posted! I spent a lot of time crocheting until the beginning of December. Then had to get ready for Mandi and the kids coming to visit on the day after Christmas until New Years eve. I have to say their visit was exceptionally fun and adventurous.
I started back on therapy, dealing with my pain and other personal issues. My therapist is a wonderful man. Kind, caring and knows what he is doing.
I've started  paper-crafting again. Making postcards, cards etc. Trying to get my card list ready for the year with appropriate cards for birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Steven moved the printer so its easily accessible and i got the Sizzix E clips out of hiding and am having a blast using it. I will certainly post pictures of my creations.

This past weekend was the Blizzard of 2016. According to records we got a whopping 18 inches; Wow. It really didn't affect us in any negative way. We had heat, food and the generator in case of power outages. Nothing happened though; Just snow. Of course that front created a lot of pain for me personally on a physical level. But I survived it. Sonny has a bad cold..but schools are closed today, so he gets a break.

So much to do,so many worried,so little time
Sonny has been sick for a month now. Bad body pain,low grade fever. Has been tested for west Nile birus,lymes,and a battery of other tests. Only test came back abnormal was his allergy which level are high. Give it two weeks then go back if he doesn't feel better. Sigh. Steven was just put on antibiotics too. Having a slew of blood work done.chest xrays came back ok.
Pets are suffering with fleas.cookie is highly allergic.she's not feeling well either.

It's been one check of a year.losing bagheera a few weeks ago was hard too.
But I have been crocheting and really enjoying the new stitches I have learned.now I'm making an Afghan for Addy. Taking a long time but loving it.
